Franklin
At Zachary's school the week from January 24th-28th was Family Literacy Week. There were a number of school activities that the children participated in. One day they had "Flashlight Reading" where the children brought flashlights to class. They had "Noisy Reading Day", "Buddy Reading Day" and today was "Favourite Character Day". The children had the opportunity to dress up as their favourite character. Zachary wanted to dress like Franklin.
Throughout each day they also would announce over the PA to "Drop Everything and Read". When that would happen, students and staff would stop what they were doing and read for ten minutes.I think Zachary was a super cute Franklin. It was the help of Sarah that completed the look and took the picture for us to share with you.
Read on family... read on!

Brotherly Love
Zachary is pretty cleaver when it comes to sharing. He had finished his Fruit by the Foot, and saw Jonas almost had a whole one to himself. Zachary suggests to Jonas that they share. Jonas take one side and He'd take the other, and they could eat together. Smart kid and oh so funny to watch! ENJOY

2010 Highlights
2010 was a wonderful year filled with excitement and love. We started the year with the world in Vancouver. It was an experience of a lifetime. The red, white, and GOLD. The 2010 Olympics were amazing. It was so incredible to see our country celebrate.
March brought a very special little girl to our family. Baylee Tamara was Born March 24th. This was a huge highlight for me. It was really hard not to be there when she came, but I knew our time together would come.

This Fall Zachary started school. He attends kindergarden at a school very close to home. He enjoys it and his little brother can't wait for his turn.

This summer we made the trip back to Ontario where I met my niece for the first time. It was love at first sight. It was a long awaited meeting and it couldn't have been a better moment for me. A moment in time I will never forget.
Before we left Ontario we joined in the celebration of love and marriage. Andrea and (big) Zack were married on a beautiful day in September. Both Zachary and Jonas had an important roll in this joyous event. The boys are very special to Andrea and Zack and it was so nice to be together with them on their special day.
2010 was filled with wonderful events and memories, too many to cover them all. I just know that 2011 is going to be another year filled with love and excitement.Wishing everyone a happy healthy joyous New Year!
PS. Zachary got most of his Christmas list - Star Wars Lego, Harmonica and a Game Boy instead of a DS. He was happy :)
