I was able to sit in with him, but it is hard to watch your small person have uncomfortable work done. It was hard enough to sit there with him while they administered the nitrous. He is such a good sport. He was just such a big little guy as he climbed up into the big dental chair. He laid so still as they moved the chair back into a recline, and then up to a higher level. Jonas just laid there so calm as they placed a little mask over his small nose. He looked so small in the big chair, but was such a big boy. He was so good and did what was asked of him.
I am so grateful for their health. I can't imagine what some parents have to go through when their children are sick. I think among so many tough things parents have to do as part of their job as a 'parent', but one extreemly difficult one would be having to be the strong one when your child is sick or scared.
Jonas is so brave and trusting. As I sit out in the waiting room I can't stop thinking about how brave he is. Since Zachary came out so well yesterday I have a sense of calm knowing Jonas won't likely remember anything, especially discomfort.
Oh he's done. I'll continue when I get home. What a champ!

Jonas is such a strong little guy. He came walking out of the office like it was almost nothing. That didn't take long at all. Less than half an hour. He seems a little sleepy, but that is to be expected since he hasn't had a nap and was just given nitrous. He picked out some green rings, and then we went to get a slurpee. Now that we are home, and it's a nice causal Saturday, we are just going to relax and watch some movies. It's pretty chilly out and we even had a little snow fall from the sky today. So it's a perfect day to just put our feet up and cuddle.
I'm proud of my little guys :)
